From the Pastor

Hello, welcome to Canyon Creek’s website. I am the pastor, Trey Turner. People, even people in church, do not always know what God wants for them or how to find out. It is my dream to have a church where people get a bearing where they are in their journey, what God wants for them, and then how to progress toward that goal. We have an acronym that can help us get a handle on where we are.

>**Community** - This is someone who has no immediate connection to the Creek

>**Reached** - We picture someone who has reached the edge of the water. Someone who has been to some Creek gathering

>**Enlisted** - This is someone who connects to a service group or small group

>**Equipped** - This person discovers the right place to serve God and serve others

>**Kingdom Builder** - This person helps others navigate their faith journey even creating ministry opportunities

“It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be
evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s
people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of
God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of
Christ.” (Ephesians 4:11-13; NIV)
