For the two-year olds all the way through sixth grade, we have Awana at the Creek on Wednesdays.(Seventh grade and up have their own programs. So check out the youth program) WEDNESDAYS 6:00-7:30 pm Now you can register your child, pay club dues, orpay for Awana club materials online!Every Awana night has a special theme. Click here for a list of the themes. Kids LOVE the Awana program. They learn Bible stories and verses in a fun and playful way, memorizing Scripture along the way, building friendships with positive peers, playing games, etc. Awana nights have special themes, are set up in ways for children to earn awards and prizes for Scripture memorization, and are full of creativity and action. In addition, the children have adopted an Awana club in Mexico and learn about missions and outreach. For information concerning volunteering, contact Elaine Powell, the Awana Commander.
We have the following Awana groups:
For older 2 year olds and younger 3 year olds.
Kids ages 3 & 4 have a great time learning Bible stories, playing and singing songs. These little ones even start memorizing Bible verses as Cubbies.
K- 2nd grade are known as Sparkies. By now they have memorized a few verses and are really starting to get a feel for what the Bible has to say about life.
Boys and girls in grades 3 through 6 are part of Truth & Training Clubs. They learn Bible stories and Scripture memorization remains a priority.
The Awana games are a crucial part of the Awana program. The kids love them. Most of the games are outside, active, and fun! We have special fun nights and events throughout the Awana season as well.
