Life Groups at The Creek

Studying the Bible and what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ in everyday life in general is more than just meeting for an hour on Sunday morning for us at Canyon Creek Baptist Church. The groups that meet every week prior to the worship service indeed study the Bible.

However, the groups, Life Groups, not only seek the truth of the Bible but look for practical ways to apply it to their lives. Members "do life together." The great Apostle Paul said it well in the Bible:

"Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep." Rom. 12:15

So when we gather in our Life Groups on Sunday morning we care about what goes on in the lives of those in the group. We pray for concerns and we assist when someone needs help or is in the hospital by providing meals, etc. We also have fun times as groups! The superbowl by all means calls for a special gathering! Groups with young families have gatherings that bring out the family atmosphere, etc. In short, we do life in small groups.

What about the children, teenagers, and adolescents on Sunday morning? Do they meet at the same time as Life Groups? Yes! We have groups for all:
