Outreach & Missions at the Creek

At the Creek we are all about sharing the saving love of Jesus with the community around us and the world at large. We do this in a variety of ways.

We take the commandment of the Lord Jesus to go into all the world and share the awesome news of God's love seriously at Canyon Creek Baptist Church. It is the best news ever and a true joy to share!

Examples of outreach activities at the Creek:

• Involvement with and giving to Churches Touching Lives for Christ (CTLC)
• Involvement with prison ministry
• Girlfriends at the Creek -- outreach to women in the community
• Community support through "backpack buddies" and providing school supplies
• Mission trips to England
• Mission trips to Morelia, Mexico
• Mission trips to Arizona
• Miaaion trip to New Orleans
• Supporting church planting in Wisconsin
• Giving to local, national, and international missions
• "Engage" service projects in the community
• "Engage" community connections
• Serving food at the Ronald McDonald house
• Playing with kids in Belton at an kids' outreach program
• Youth sport connections (some staff members are coaches in the community)
• A strong representation of Gideons at the Creek and giving to the Gideons
• Fall festival outreach in the community
• Angel Tree Ministries, providing gifts for children of incarcerated parents
• Bible Studies in the community
• Members serve as chairs and members of community boards, including:

  The Central Texas Youth Services, The Central Texas Family Violence Task Force, The CTRAC-L Regional Disaster Behavioral Health Plan, and The Injury Prevention Board.

• Activities in conjunction with the Bell Baptist Association
• Children outreach -- VBS, AWANA, and community activities
• Youth outreach
• College outreach
• Senior adults outreach
• Meridian Retirement Community Bible studies
• Community fellowships by Life Groups
• Ministry to our special friends, God's beloved with special needs
