At Canyon Creek Baptist Church we believe that our more mature adults are a vital part of our church family. We are blessed to have a wonderful group of senior adults who are an integral part of our ongoing ministries. Many of our most faithful prayer warriors and church workers are found among the vibrant members of the senior adults.

Ms. Julia Walker

Under the capable ministry leadership of Ms. Julia Walker, our senior adults group, Pacemakers, meets every second Monday of the month for a time of fellowship, encouragement, a potluck luncheon, a wonderful program, and much more. Pacemakers provides opportunities for relationship building, encouragement, support, sharing, fun, and spiritual growth.

Not only do we have a special ministry for our seniors and special Sunday Morning Life Groups, but we also recognize the importance for our younger people to learn from the wisdom of those who have walked the roads of life longer than most. Thus our seniors are found in many church activities so young and old can cherish what it means to be the Body of Christ.
